Additional public meetings in Faversham & Tenterden

It has just been announced that two additional public meetings are being arranged to discuss the potential changes to health services in East Kent.

Eight public meetings have already taken place. Following public feedback, there will now be two new meetings in Faversham & Tenterden.

You can book a place at the meetings by following this link

The meetings will take place at:

Tenterden: Monday, 10 December, at London Beach Country Hotel, Ashford Road, Tenterden TN30 6HX from 6.30 to 9.30pm (registration from 6.15pm)

Faversham: Wednesday, 12 December, at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Abbey Place, Faversham  ME13 7BQ from 6.45 to 9.45pm (registration from 6.30pm). Attendees are advised not to arrive earlier than 6.30pm as access to the school may be refused.

These meetings are not the only way that the organisers are listening to the public.  Surveyors have already spoken to hundreds of people on high streets and by visiting community groups. A full public consultation will follow next year.

If you can't make these events, you can complete the online survey before December 9th. More information about the proposals can be found here. To contact the organisers you can email info.eastkent@nhs.net.

Please note, this process is not being organised by Healthwatch Kent.  We have attended many of meetings so far as participants.
