Research by the BBC shows that ambulances take longer to reach people in rural areas compared to urban areas. Steve Inett said,

"People will naturally be concerned about today’s story about ambulance times. However Kent is a large and diverse county with many rural areas so it’s no surprise that ambulances may take longer to reach some areas than others.

We would encourage people to share their stories of ambulance services with us so we can use them to try and improve the service. You can contact us for free anytime on 0808 801 0102.”
