Healthwatch Kent comments on the CQC rating of East Kent Hospitals Children’s services

The Care Quality Commission has announced today that hospital children’s services provided by East Kent Hospitals are rated as inadequate.

This is clearly going to worry parents all over East Kent but we know the hospital have made a lot of improvements already.

The Care Quality Commission visited the children’s wards, operating theatres and A&E at both William Harvey Hospital in Ashford and QEQM Hospital in Margate in October 2018.
