Although Council’s have been given extra funding by the Government to support the Coronavirus epidemic, Kent County Council reports that it’s had £96.6 million of extra spending during Covid coupled with a loss of income of £21million leaving a significant shortfall.

This will mean it will need to make some tough decisions about services.

The Council have launched a public consultation to seek the views of Kent residents about what the priorities for funding should be.  You can read all the details and share your thoughts at www.kent.gov.uk/budget
