Help the Non Emergency Patient Transport Service to be better

If you need help to attend an NHS appointment, you may have used the Non Emergency Patient Transport Service to help you get there.
This is a free transport service that is available to some, but not all, patients based on their eligibility.
help improve the patient transport service

Many of you have been in touch over the years to share with us your feedback about the service. All your stories have helped to contribute to a new national review of the service.

As part of the review, the NHS has created new national eligibility criteria and now they want to hear what you think about it.

The NHS is formally consulting on the changes and they are also holding four online workshops to enable people to have their say.

Share your thoughts

The feedback from the online sessions will be used alongside comments from the consultation to help finalise the criteria before its publication in early 2022.
