What have we achieved this year?

35,316 people came to us for advice and information about topics such as mental health, accessing dentists and the cost-of-living crisis.
We've picked our best bits from the year to share with you:
  • We made sure coeliacs across Kent could access gluten-free flour mix prescriptions when needed

  • We supported homeless people to access emergency dental treatment

  • We informed health services on how to better support gypsy and traveller communities

  • We helped refugees to understand their rights when registering with a GP

  • We re-built confidence in local hospital care for people in our community, ensuring they accessed help when in need

  • We reduced loneliness by connecting people to befriending services

  • By working with us, our volunteers feel they have changed people’s lives for the better

  • We improved people’s discharge experiences, by re-introducing discharge support leaflets to a local hospital

  • A local GP updated their registration policy to accommodate homeless people, thanks to our feedback

All the details, plus much more are in the report below, including information on our priorities for the year ahead which include:

1. Help ensure people are at the heart of understanding and addressing health inequalities.

2. People who are having difficulty accessing services that are most in need.

3. Women’s Health
