Healthwatch Kent comments on the CQC rating of South East Coast Ambulance Service

The Care Quality Commission has announced today that the ambulance service, which serves Kent, has been rated as ‘Good’ and the Trust will now exit Special Measures.

The Care Quality Commission visited ambulance services in June and July this year and have reported today that they found the service has improved since their last visit.

The Care Quality Commission has today announced that our ambulance service has improved and is now rated as Good. This is clearly great news for everyone living in Kent and the rest of the South East. As the independent voice for patients, it is important that people to continue to share their experiences of ambulance service with us so that we can continue to help to improve our ambulance service.
